Principles of Pastry Law

The High Pastry Court has developed several enduring principles through its rulings:

I. Friday Supremacy

Friday remains the sovereign Breakfast Day.

II. Pastry Justice

Punishments should be proportionate to the seriousness of the offence, while remaining suitably pastry-related.

III. Judicial Discretion

The Court may consider exceptional circumstances when applying constitutional provisions.

IV. Redemption

Not every offence must result in permanent disgrace. Where appropriate, the Court may establish a path toward redemption.

V. Precedent

Previous rulings may guide the Court when considering future cases.

VI. The Cake Principle

Where a constitutional breach specifically calls for a Cake Fine, cake shall be considered a legitimate and constitutionally recognised form of punishment.

VII. The Vegan Doctrine

The integrity of vegan provisions shall be protected.
