Greggs Friday Breakfast Club · Official Members & Offices Register

The Members & Offices Register is the official record of the membership, recognised offices, titles and honours of the Greggs Friday Breakfast Club.

The Register is maintained under the authority of the High Pastry Court and in accordance with Articles II and V of the Constitution.

The identities used throughout this public register are the Club’s official ceremonial identities. They preserve the character and history of the Club while protecting the privacy of the individuals represented.

Membership, offices, titles and honours remain subject to the Constitution and the authority of the High Pastry Court.

Keeper of the Golden Breakfast

The Hash Brown Chancellor currently holds the highest position in the Pastry Point Ledger.

The Chancellor is associated with the celebrated Hash Brown Benediction, one of the established ceremonial traditions of the Friday Breakfast Club.

The office represents distinguished standing, service to the Club and exceptional breakfast conduct.

Office

Temporal Enforcer of the Morning Munch

Responsibility

Keeper of Time

The Chronomancer is responsible for the temporal integrity of Friday breakfast proceedings.

The office exists to ensure that the Club’s meetings remain faithful to the sacred chronology of the Friday morning.

Questions concerning timing, punctuality and the proper temporal observance of breakfast may therefore fall within the Chronomancer’s ceremonial jurisdiction.

Title

Sultan of the Steak Bake

The Villager Sultan holds one of the Club’s most distinguished pastry titles.

The Sultan’s title reflects the particular esteem in which the noble steak bake is held within the traditions of the Friday Breakfast Club.

The title forms part of the permanent ceremonial record of the Club.

Office

Keeper of the Vegan Sausage Roll

Doctrine

The Verdant Doctrine

The Verdant Guardian is entrusted with protecting the integrity of vegan breakfast provisions.

The Keeper of the Vegan Sausage Roll holds a constitutionally recognised office and is the ceremonial guardian of the Vegan Doctrine.

The office carries particular responsibility for the preservation and proper treatment of the Club’s designated vegan provisions.

Ceremonial Designation

The Final Bell

The Final Bell occupies a distinctive position within the Friday Breakfast tradition.

His arrival traditionally marks the final moment at which the assembled Club can proceed to breakfast.

Accordingly, the appearance of The Final Bell serves as the unofficial signal that the Friday Breakfast Club may now commence its journey to Greggs.

The title is ceremonial in nature and does not constitute a constitutional office.

The Strongman of the Sausage Roll

Judicial Designation

Rogue Roll

The Sausage Roll Strongman holds the ceremonial title of Strongman of the Sausage Roll.

The member is additionally subject to the Rogue Roll designation established by the High Pastry Court.

The Rogue Roll is a judicial status which records significant pastry-related misconduct while providing a defined opportunity for redemption.

Ceremonial Distinction

Distinguished Constitution Breacher

The Rogue Doughnut occupies a unique place within the Club’s constitutional history.

The distinction recognises a notable record of constitutional breaches which have contributed to the development of Club precedent and provided the High Pastry Court with opportunities to interpret and apply the Constitution.

The title is therefore both commemorative and judicial in character.

👤 Prospective Members

A Prospective Member is an individual whose admission proceedings have been authorised under Article II of the Constitution but who has not yet been formally admitted as a Permanent Member.

A Prospective Member must attend two official Club meetings before becoming eligible for Permanent Membership.

Completion of the two-meeting requirement does not itself constitute admission. Formal admission and induction must take place in accordance with Article II.

Any current Prospective Members shall be recorded here while their admission proceedings remain active.

🏛️Constitutional Offices

The Club maintains several recognised offices whose responsibilities contribute to the proper administration of Friday breakfast.

Office: High Pastry Court

The Presiding Judge is the judicial authority responsible for interpreting the Constitution, resolving disputes and establishing pastry-law precedent.

The current Presiding Judge is recorded separately by the Office of the Judge.

Officeholder: The Chronomancer of the Morning Munch

The Temporal Enforcer safeguards the timing and chronology of Friday proceedings.

The office recognises the principle that breakfast, while informal in appearance, is nevertheless subject to proper temporal governance.

The Keeper protects the Club’s vegan provisions and upholds the Verdant Doctrine.

The office is constitutionally recognised and may exercise ceremonial authority concerning matters of vegan breakfast integrity.

Officeholder: The Hash Brown Chancellor

The Keeper of the Conference Suite is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the conference suite is secured for the Friday Breakfast Club meeting.

🏅 Titles & Honours

A ceremonial title or honour does not necessarily constitute a constitutional office.

Titles and honours may be recognised in accordance with established Club tradition, service, achievement, conduct or judicial determination.

The conferral of a title or honour shall not alter a Member’s constitutional status unless expressly provided for by the Constitution or a binding ruling of the High Pastry Court.

Judicial designations, including sanctions or statuses imposed by the Court, shall be recorded separately where appropriate.

📜 Membership Principles

Membership of the Friday Breakfast Club is governed by Article II of the Constitution.

Nomination

An individual may be nominated for membership by an existing Permanent Member.

The Judge of the High Pastry Court must be informed of the nomination before admission proceedings may commence.

Admission Proceedings

The Judge may allow proceedings for the admission of the nominated individual to commence.

Once proceedings have been authorised, the individual becomes a Prospective Member.

Two-Meeting Principle

A Prospective Member must attend two official Club meetings before becoming eligible for Permanent Membership.

Formal Admission

Completion of the two-meeting requirement establishes eligibility but does not itself constitute membership.

Formal induction establishes Permanent Membership.

Alumni Reinstatement

A former Permanent Member holding a valid G45 may be eligible for reinstatement without repeating the ordinary admission process, subject to recognition and reinstatement by the High Pastry Court in accordance with Article II.

Permanent Membership

Permanent Members retain their recognised status unless suspended, expelled, resigning from the Club, or otherwise removed in accordance with the Constitution or by lawful order of the High Pastry Court.

⚖️ Authority of the High Pastry Court

The High Pastry Court has jurisdiction over disputes concerning membership, offices, titles and honours.

The Court may recognise, suspend, restore or otherwise determine the status of a Member, office, title or honour where authorised by the Constitution or where necessary to resolve a matter within its jurisdiction.

No entry in this Register may override an express provision of the Constitution or a binding ruling of the High Pastry Court.

For judicial titles, designations and honours, consult the Orders & Honours Register and Case Law & Rulings where applicable.

For the authority governing membership and offices, consult the Constitution.

Changes to membership, offices, titles and honours shall be entered into this Register when formally recognised.

The Register shall not itself create membership, an office, title or honour; it records those matters once established under the Constitution, Club authority or a binding judicial ruling.
