Guest of Honour Registrar

Greggs Friday Breakfast Club · Official Ceremonial Record

The Guest of Honour Register records distinguished individuals who have been granted exceptional permission to attend a meeting of the Greggs Friday Breakfast Club.

A Guest of Honour is not a member of the Club and does not acquire membership rights by virtue of their attendance. The designation is a mark of distinction, granted only where the circumstances are considered sufficiently noteworthy by the High Pastry Court.

All appointments are entered into the permanent ceremonial record.

🏅 Registered Guests of Honour

Year: 2025
Occasion: Successful Completion of a Security Audit
Status: 🟢 Honourably Recorded

Appointment

The High Pastry Court recognised the successful completion of a significant security audit as an occasion worthy of ceremonial celebration.

Accordingly, The Keeper of the Digital Gate was granted a Guest of Honour Exception, permitting attendance at one official Friday Breakfast Club meeting.

Significance

The appointment established the principle that exceptional professional achievements may, where appropriate, be celebrated within the hallowed surroundings of the Friday breakfast table.

The appointment did not confer permanent Club membership, voting rights or automatic entitlement to future attendance.

Judicial Determination

Guest of Honour status granted for one official meeting.

Verdict: Honourably Admitted.

Year: 2026
Occasion: Introduction of a New GRC Starter to the Friday Congregation
Status: 🟢 Honourably Recorded

Appointment

The High Pastry Court records that The Rogue Doughnut invited a new starter from the GRC side of the team to attend the Friday Breakfast Club congregation on 14 August 2026.

The invitation was made without prior knowledge or consultation of the Court and therefore constituted an unauthorised guest admission.

Nevertheless, the attendance was completed without incident, and the guest subsequently returned voluntarily on Friday 21 August 2026, without further invitation or prompting.

Significance

The Court recognises the successful social introduction and the guest’s subsequent voluntary return as evidence that the visit was conducted in good faith and without disruption to the Club.

The appointment does not confer Club membership, voting rights, Pastry Points or any automatic entitlement to future attendance.

The Court further records that the guest is not a candidate for membership.

Judicial Determination

Guest attendance retrospectively recognised and honourably recorded.

The procedural breach committed by The Rogue Doughnut is acknowledged but fully mitigated. No Pastry Point deduction or Cake Fine is imposed.

Verdict: Honourably Admitted.
