Guest of Honour Protocol

The High Pastry Court may grant Guest of Honour status where an individual has:

  • Achieved something worthy of exceptional recognition
  • Made a notable contribution to the interests of the Club
  • Been invited for a significant ceremonial occasion
  • Otherwise demonstrated circumstances warranting temporary distinction

Guest of Honour status is exceptional rather than routine.

The Court may specify:

  • The meeting at which attendance is permitted
  • The occasion being recognised
  • Any conditions attached to attendance
  • Whether the honour is recorded permanently
